Akira Pencil Tests

I picked up Akira on Blu-Ray recently and now that I've been able to revisit it I can truly attest to it's greatness. I highly recommend you pick up a copy for yourself.

The animation is so great - the physics of the action and the mass that all the characters have is completely believable. Check out these animation tests from the film and be blown away.

I just got back from a week of vacation but Jason was still here printing a slew of new gigposters and artprints, so when I got in this morning here's what I saw - it was kinda like Christmas morning minus the pajamas.
